For now, this is the only picture I can find of the girls playing with the orchestra in Vienna, Austria! Somewhere in that crowd are my daughters! I will search and load more pictures soon.

AMIS Jr Honor Orchestra 2011 - Vienna - Brandenburg Concerto #3

This link is a good one of the girls in Vienna. The other link was full of ads and time wasting stuff that got in the way of the performance. Sorry, but that was the link we were told would be available after the show. This one is a YouTube video and you can't see the girls but you can hear the beautiful music. Bob was sitting next to the guy who took it. Sit back and enjoy Brandenburg Concerto #3.

AMIS Jr Honor Orchestra Vienna, Austria 2011 - Ben Zander makes guest ap...

Leah and Jennifer are in Vienna, Austria, for Junior Honor Orchestra. Their trip started back in May when they received audition music. They practiced all summer and auditioned in September. By late October, we heard that they had both made the orchestra and would be traveling to Vienna to play with other students from all over the world who also made the orchestra. They have practiced so hard to be prepared for this experience. Leah and Jenn, along with 5 other ISB students, flew to Vienna yesterday and began practicing as a real orchestra. The video above is a sample of what they are doing. Bob and I are flying tomorrow so we can see the real performance on Saturday.

Brussels and Bluebells with Bill and Pam

This week Pam and Bill are visiting from Chicago. As a couple, we have known them since we met and Bob has known Bill for about 45 years! When you come to Brussels, you have to eat chocolate. With Easter right around the corner, there is chocolate everywhere. This giant egg was in the window of the Neuhaus Chocolate store in Galleries St. Hubert.

Escher Museum

Jenn (left) and Leah (right) are at the Escher Museum in The Haug, Netherlands. Traveling by train, they went with two of their favorite teachers and their friends from the Math Club. They just emailed this photo to me. It looks like Jenn and Leah are having fun!
