Big plans for mom and dad
Notre Dame along the Seine River
My parents will be here on June 9 and I just can't wait! The kids are excited too and we have started to plan where we want to take them when they visit. Ghent, Bruges, Amsterdam and Aachen are just a few of our considerations.
This morning we were discussing our travel ideas over breakfast. One of the twins said, "Do we have to go to Paris AGAIN? I have been there 4 times already!"
Never, ever did I think that Paris would become passe!

ISB Golf Outing
Bob and I played golf on Monday in the ISB Annual Golf Outing. Bob was on fire! He had the best game he could have ever played. The course was hard but beautiful and led us through a much more hilly terrain than the last time we played. We won't talk about my game since it was a mess. My performance only means I get to play more and get more practice. Yeah!!
After the match we had dinner and heard how well the other teams played. Too bad there wasn't a prize for the highest score or the shortest drive. I would have won that for sure and my prize should have been golf lessons as a prerequisite to my future participation in the event. Really, I was that bad! Bob bought a few raffle tickets and put my name on them. We actaully won something pretty spectacular......................A trip to Sardinia including a round of golf! I have to admit that we both had to look it up on the map to see where we would actually be going. We are thinking about going next fall. That will give me plenty of time to work on my golf game!

Water
We are floating away here in Belgium. Lots of rain mixed with sun/clouds and mild temperatures. We had 2 inches of water in the basement last night. Luckily the girls and I had purchased a shop vac for Bob for Father's Day. It was sitting in the basement just begging to be used. Bob got home from Zurich and we said, "Happy early Father's Day, here is your gift now help us!"

Busy Busy
Just a quick update....
Bob and I spent the weekend in Paris! We had so much fun. We spent Saturday at Versailles and Sunday at the famous Marché aux Puces St-Ouen de Clignancourt (Puces Antique Market). Bob is still there working (?) but he will be back tomorrow.
Leah and Jenn are still playing softball. They want to make the All-Star team so they can go to the tournament in Torino, Italy, right outside Venice. We will keep you updated.
Maria has CT and MRI scans next week to check up on the healing of her spine. She looks and feels great so we can only assume all is well. Prom is coming up so wearing the brace with a pink glittery halter dress is out of the question. She has explained the importance of prom to her doctor and he is going along with her plan to get the brace off by the end of the month. In fact, he didn't really know what a "prom" was so Maria gave him the 411.
We are looking ahead to travel plans for June, July and August. Mom and Dad will visit in June and we will travel in July with Maria's friend Kaitlin. France, UK, Switzerland and Holland are just 4 of the 7 countries we are planning on seeing. Finally in August we will go back to Indy for 2 short weeks. We will be very busy, by choice of course.
Side notes...........Good luck with the move Mom and Dad. Thank you for the Vera bargains Jennifer R. Happy birthday Ronna and Joel. I got the insurance stuff done, Stu. Start planning your trip Jim and Cindy.
