Maria spent her college spring break back with us in Belgium. We spent lots of family time together including a long weekend at Disneyland Paris! We had so much fun and took lots of pictures. I will have plenty of material to write about over the next week!

So what's the difference between Paris Disneyland and the US version? I'll be in Paris this coming September and might consider a trip out there.
ReplyDeleteTed - Disneyland Paris is smaller than Walt Disney World in FL and larger than Disneyland in California. If you like Disney in general, don't mind hearing the Mickey Mouse song sung over and over in French and love roller coasters, then this is the place for you! I am always amazed that this American concept has caught on in France. It is totally uncharacteristic of the culture but somehow it works. The Cast Members (workers) aren't nearly as chipper as they are in the US, but they are as nice as the French can be. (Of course I mean that in the nicest way!!!) The park is very clean BUT people smoke everywhere except inside restaurants. It is so easy to access with the train from Paris. The RER goes practically right up to the entrance of the park. We love it. But I don't think we are your average travelers...Last summer we went to the Great Wall of China and Hong Kong Disney all in the same trip!
