The Overijse pool, or should I say, Begijntjesbad, is unbelievable. The entire complex is indoors with an olympic size pool, kiddy area with fountains, sauna, restaurant, and water slide. Leah and Jennifer LOVED the slide. It is actually 8 turns filled with rapid type water that pushes you through untill the end where you are dumped into a whirlpool area big enough for 30 people. I think you can make the pictures bigger if you click on them. You'll notice that Leah and Jenn are in 3 but the other picture was taken to show you how many people wear Speedos. (Too many in our opinion!)

  1. That's one of the things I had wondered about - if there were public city pools. I didn't see many gyms, not like they are on every street corner here in Atlanta, at least. Looks like that one was fun.

  2. Hi Dallas! Not only is there a pool, but Overijse brags that there are so many activities in their community center that you would never need to go elsewhere. Of course when they brag,it is in Flemish and I am really clueless. I must take language lessons, which are also available at the same community center.

  6. Hi Ang. My email is not working today, otherwise I would send you and Kess a nice long note. Yeah for Mrs. Whitehead!!! She is fantastic. You will love how organized she is. She lets you know exactly what is expected. Leah had her the year I split up the girls. We don't start school until August 27! But the girls go to "All Spots Camp" on August 18. Rock climbing, tennis, etc. - Your kids would love it. Give Skippy a new home. I am sure he probably needs it. I am going to call Kesslar on Thursday around 11am but don't hang around and wait for the call. If you aren't home, I will just try again.
